Evidence levels

Every use case carries one badge that tells you how strong the evidence behind it is. Every case links to its sources; the badge tells you what kind of source it is.

Verified Verified

A real deployment at a named company (or a precisely described anonymous one), in production, with a primary source and at least one measured result. Most of these figures are published by the vendor or the company itself and are not independently audited; each page says who reports them.

Pilot Pilot

A pilot, prototype, proof of concept, funded trial or early rollout, often on one line, one product range or for a few months, or reported by a programme or integrator without a baseline. The results are real but limited in scope or not yet measured, and some may be projections.

Analyst-reported Analyst-reported

A one- or two-sentence result reported by a consulting or analyst firm about an unnamed client. No method, baseline or time frame is published, so the figure cannot be checked and may not be due to AI alone. The steps on the page are a method you can apply, not a description of what the client did.

Anecdote Anecdote

One practitioner describing their own experience, for example on a forum or social media. Useful as a signal, but not verified and not measured.

Method Method

A practical method built from standards, vendor documentation and related published cases. There is no published, measured customer result for this exact workflow yet, so it is not counted as a customer case.

Idea Idea

A use that seems plausible but for which we have not found a real implementation. Shown only if clearly labelled; never presented as a case.
