Privacy Policy

This policy explains what AI Agents for Manufacturing (aiagentsformanufacturing.com, “we”) collects and why.

What we collect

• Newsletter subscribers: your email address, and the date you subscribed. That is all we ask for.
• Website visitors: anonymous, aggregated usage data (pages viewed, referrer, country, device type) through Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
• View and upvote counts: when you open a use case or upvote one, we count it anonymously. To count each visitor at most once per day and allow one upvote per use case, we set a random identifier in a first-party cookie (vid) and keep a small marker in your browser's local storage. The identifier is not linked to your name, email or newsletter subscription, and only totals per use case are shown. Your IP address is used briefly to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and is not stored long-term. Vote records expire after about a year of inactivity.
• Emails you send us: the content of your message and your address, used only to reply.

Consent (CASL and GDPR)

We only email people who have subscribed through our form, which states that you will receive the weekly newsletter. Our legal basis under the GDPR is your consent; under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) it is your express consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. You can also email newsletter@aiagentsformanufacturing.com and we will remove you.

Service providers

• Resend stores our subscriber list and sends our emails, and records delivery, opens and clicks so we can measure the newsletter.
• Vercel hosts the website and provides Vercel Web Analytics.
• Upstash stores the anonymous view and upvote counts.

These providers may process data outside your country (for example in the United States) under their own safeguards. We do not sell or rent your data, and we never share your email with sponsors.

Retention

We keep your email while you are subscribed and delete it on request. Unsubscribed addresses may be kept on a suppression list only to make sure you are not emailed again.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by emailing newsletter@aiagentsformanufacturing.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
