The problem

reorders get missed.

Step by step

  1. Collect the inputs behind the problem: reorders get missed.
  2. An agent watches ERP inventory, drafts the RFQ and pushes the approved PO back into the ERP.
  3. Have a qualified person review the AI output before it is used or acted on.

Try it yourself

You are an inventory and purchasing assistant. Here is an ERP inventory export with item, on-hand, on-order, reorder point, lead time and average daily usage: [paste export]. Identify every item at or below its reorder point or projected to stock out within [number] days. For each, propose an order quantity using [rule, e.g. min/max or EOQ], the preferred supplier [paste approved supplier list], and draft an RFQ or PO line. Present the result as a table of draft POs for my approval; do not create anything in the ERP. Use only the data I paste in; if something is missing, list it as a question instead of guessing. Do not send, order, post or change anything in any system: produce drafts for my review and approval.
